    We are proud to present the short film, ‘HONOLUA BLOMFIELD’, by Morgan Maassen.The film is a glimpse into the two-time World Longboard Champion’s Hawaiian surfing roots and her elegant surfingcaptured in Indonesia and her beloved North Shore of Oahu. The Blomfield’s Hawaiian surfing heritage runs deep.Honolua’s grandfather and his brother were a part of the first generation to surf the notorious Pipeline.Her grandmother and mother both surfed, and her father, Kolohe, was a professional surfer in the late 80’s.Surfing and a strong connection to the ocean would become a way of life for Honolua.She started surfing at the age of two, was a Team O’Neill rider before the age of ten, joined the world tour at fifteen,and won her second world title in 2019 at age twenty.

    When you’re in a place of darkness, you’re in a powerful place of change. ‘Transmutation’ is a celebration of growth.The 19/20 Australian bushfire season as of March 9th, 2020 burnt an estimated 18.6 million hectares and destroyed over 2,779 homes.Lachie Rombouts lives on the south coast of NSW, which was one of the greatest affected areas.Lachie chose to leave money for happiness many moons ago.Surfing through the bushfire season not only helped him avoid familiar darkness, but it brought clarity towards a common goal.He is doing what he can to help by planting new vegetation for local elders and homes in these decimated areas.“Transmutation. Grapes must be crushed to make wine. Diamonds from under pressure.Olives are pressed to release oil.
