I grew up in Allgäu, a region in the German Alps. My dad ran a cable park so I was introduced to waterskiing and wakeboarding very early. I spent pretty much every day out there, wore my pants baggy in primary school and learnt from some of the best of that time.

Snowboarding had a big role and still has today, even though I have not had much chance to ride the last winters. I’ve had several injuries on my knee, nothing horrible actually, but the time off has exposed me to myself a lot. This has been great for finding out what really inspires and drives me. There is a lot more to life than just wakeboarding or expressing yourself in action sports, but still, it is a damn big part for me.
